Bayards is one of the world's leading aluminum construction companies, project based and active in many different industries. The markets in which Bayards operates vary significantly. Bayards' specialists work on different projects from fabrication of monocock hull structures for high tech reconnaissance vehicles for the defense industry to brainstorming with architects to realize their architectural visions in aluminum; from supplying hulls and superstructures for the leading super yacht yards of the Netherlands to assembling a fully prefabricated helideck assembly kit on an offshore oil platform, while it is operating.
An important market for Bayards is the Offshore industry, as aluminum is the ideal material to use in the marine environment and can be the perfect solution when a rig structure or vessel has weight limitations. Aluminum antenna modules, stair towers, sections of living quarters in aluminum are on our reference list.
About 25 years ago we have supplied our first aluminum helideck for the North Sea Offshore industry, during the following years helidecks were frequently built at Bayards. In recent years the offshore industry started to discover the advantages of an aluminum helidecks. In addition to the offshore industry aluminum rooftop helipads become more and more popular as well.
Nowadays both helidecks for the offshore industry as well as rooftop helipads are an important part of Bayards' business.
