  • Project Manager
    • Due to the expansion of our project department, we are looking for an enthusiastic and flexible employee for our office in Heijningen.

      As Project manager you are responsible for the coordination and supervision of a project. You must independently ensure the progress, quality and the budget of the project, as well as managing engineering, work preparation and purchase on a project basis. You will report to the Manager of Projects and you must ensure an optimal flow of information with both the client and within the organisation. You are the central point of contact for the client, with the unique oportunity to go on site and follow closely the latest developments.

      We are looking for a HBO level mechanical engineer with several years of experience as a project manager in a technical, international environment. Mastering the English and German language, both oral and written, is essential for this position.

  • Manager QHSE
    • For the QHSE department we are searching for an enthusiastic, independent and flexible person

      As Manager QHSE, together with the Management Team, you will model the policy and objectives in connection with Quality, Health, Safety and Environment (QHSE). You will be responsible for  the implementation of the determined QHSE objectives at an international level. Additionally, you will manage the QHSE department, which consists of four employees in total.

      You will maintain, support and obtain all necessary certifications according to the standards established within the company. You will monitor and supervise the required internal and external audits and set improvement targets. You will work, when necessary, in close cooperation with your colleagues in other countries.

      Furthermore, you will be responsible for managing and developing the QHSE Quality and Management systems including RI&E (Risk Inventory & Evaluation). You shall identify regulatory developments which are relevant to business operations and put forward improvement proposals. You shall describe business processes and keep the QHSE Manual including associated documents up to date.

      You shall identify, analyse and report bottlenecks in processes and actively contribute towards developing improvements. You will play a key role in promoting QHSE awareness within the organization.

      Bayards requires a technical Higher Vocational Education and relevant experience in the area of QHSE management. Extensive knowledge of systems and legislation in the areas of quality, safety, occupational health & safety and environment is a must. In addition, having experience in conducting internal and external audits will benefit you greatly. Excellent knowledge of the Dutch and English language, spoken and written is required. Knowledge of the German language is an advantage.

  • Structural Engineer
    • For our engineering department  - located in Heijningen - we are looking for an experienced and proficient structural engineer 

      Together with the Structural Engineering Manager, you will be in charge for producing structural designs and calculations of aluminium structures. In this position your main role will be in the production of structural calculations.

      By working on a variety of constructions, such as helidecks, parts of offshore structures, bridges and stairsways, you will have the oportunity to calculate, analyse and model various technical solutions.

      Bayards requires a bachelor’s degree in mechanical engineering ( HBO ) together with relevant experience in the field of producing structural designs and calculations of large scale mechanical constructions. In addition, experience with FEM programmes, preferably StaadPro and Femap is required.Experience with Inventor and/or Tekla is an advantage. If you are analytical and practical by nature, proactive, accurate but with a flexible work attitude, look no more because this is the job for you! A good comand of both Dutch and English language is necessary.   • Allround CNC Frezer
    • We are looking for technical MBO working and thinking level, with extensive experience in the field of CNC machining processes/techniques. Experience with Siemens 840D programming is a plus. If you are accurate, solutions orientated and you have a practical work attitude, who doesn't mind working in two shifts, we are looking forward to meeting you. 

      As all-round CNC milling operator you and other CNC operators are responsible for carrying out mechanical machining with our advanced five-axis CNC portal milling machining (15x3,5x1,5m), 5-axis profile-processing machine, friction stir welding machine and the 3-axis portal milling machine. With the help of drawings, clamping sketches and programmes, you will ensure that the manufactured parts comply with the prescribed standards and tolerances. Programming the machine is also a part of the work.

  • Senior Supervisor
    • Due to expansion of our team, we are looking for a very flexible supervisor.

      As a Supervisor you are responsible for the coordination, supervision, the assembly and maintenance of large aluminium constructions on- and offshore, around the world.

      In cooperation with local colleagues, who will be managed by you, you will be responsible for the implementation of the project within the stipulated time. You will ensure that the objectives related to production, quality and safety will be achieved.

      Furthermore, you will independently carry out inspections to existing aluminium constructions, such as helidecks, according to the applicable specifications and regulations.

      You are responsible for the correct written and verbal report to your own organisation with regards to the progress, technical issues, improvements and possible contract variations. Additionally, you will report to the client on the progress of the project/ work.

      We are looking for minimal MTS+ level and plenty of international experience (minimum of 10 years) as a supervisor on- and off-shore. Experience with assembling large constructions is required.

      Also the following characteristics/skills are of essence for this position: a very flexible attitude because of frequent travelling and longer periods away from home, a hands-on mentality, power of persuasion, solution-based thinking, resistant to stress, able to manage different people from different cultures, good communication skills, team player but also able to work very independently, self-reliance, good knowledge of the Dutch and English language, both oral and written, for communication and reporting.

      In case you have not yet completed the Basic Offshore Training, you must be willing to follow this training in view of the offshore work.

  • Hoofd Werkvoorbereiding
    • Due to the expansion of our project office we are looking for an experienced and competent employee for our Heijningen location.

      As Head of Work Preparation you will be in charge of determining the most efficient production method in cooperation with your team, the project managers and the production team leaders. You are responsible for accomplishing technical and administrative work preparation, ensuring optimal and timely project implementations are guaranteed, at minimal costs. The logistical aspect is extremely important to take into considereration because of the international nature of our projects.

      You will lead a team of six work preparators by sharing your knowledge and by cultivating their skills. Managing and documenting technical information will be part of your reposabilities. In addition, you will decide the changes to standard products, initiate and regulate  particular outsourced work, and report directly to the Manager projects department. 

      You will analyse and continually adjust the work processes in order to improve the profitability of the projects. You will have the freedome to come up with improvement proposals and initiatives with regards to the production and work preparation process, and directly and coordinate the associated implementations. By analysing drawings and sketches, you shall create a list of operations for the production of the parts to be manufactured. Deviations will be registered and reviewed with the project manager and the quality department.

      You are also responsible for the whole logistical department of the project, such as compiling lists and ensuring the correct and complete packing in containers. You will  monitor the progress of the entire project from sales order to shipment.You will support the project managers, being involved in kick-off meetings, planning meetings and the consultations with the internal departments, including  project implementation.You shall extract materials and elaborate orders within internal orders for the purpose of purchasing work activities. In consultation with the project managers and the manager of the project, you will decide the activities which can be outsourced.

      We require a Technical Bachelor’s degree level (mechanical engineering or shipyard engineering) and extensive experience as a work preparator, preferably in the construction industry. Experience with AutoCAD and excellent knowledge of the Dutch and English language, both oral and written, is required. If you have knowledge of/and experience with project information systems and an affinity for automation, we would like to meet you.

  • Purchasing Manager
    • We are looking for a driven and experienced Purchasing Manager for our headquarters in Nieuw-Lekkerland.

      As Purchasing Manager you must find that optimal balance between price, quality and delivery reliability. Especially for the project-based procurement, your will be working closely with our experienced project managers to achieve the challenging targets. Bayards is a global player, therefore our ideal candidate must able to establish and maintain long-term relationships with local suppliers as well as with the ones aboard. The commercial skills, charisma and seniority we ask for, will enable you to realize the right agreements and framework contracts. Your purchasing department will be in permanent consultation with other departments and report directly to the Technical Director, as a professional entity within our growing company. We ask for a HBO level technical purchaser with extensive experience in the area of strategic purchasing in a production environment where technical diplomas NEVI I and II are preferred.
